Andrea Costantine inspires others to make a difference in the world by getting involved and creating community through compassion, contribution and connection.
Andrea teaches that each thought, behavior and action creates a ripple effect. She believes that when we come together, change can be made. With a sense of community, separation dissipates, leading to happier, healthier, more compassionate human beings, who can then contribute back to others.
Her latest book, Connected: 101 Ways to Be of Service and Create Community is due out Spring of 2012.
Andrea’s adoration for the human spirit is expressed through her workshops, speeches and books where she teaches others how to lead with service and live with compassion and love.
Andrea Costantine witnessed her first example of compassionate service early in life, when at five years old she saw her father give a box of fried chicken to a homeless man digging in the dumpster behind their family restaurant. As a teen, the only thing that kept her out of trouble (and her grades decent), was being involved in student government, where she contributed to both her school and the local community. More recently, Andrea has volunteered for various non-profits, including the animal shelter where she adopted her two cats, literacy efforts, children’s services and local events.
Professionally, Andrea has a Master’s Degree in Human Services: Counseling Studies, is a certified coach, and is a creative visionary entrepreneur at heart.
In 2010, Andrea released two books with her business partner Lisa Shultz, Speaking Your Truth and How to Bring Your Book to Life: An Exploratory Guidebook on Writing and Self-Publishing. In 2011, she released Soulful Marketing: Heart Centered Marketing for Conscious Entrepreneurs and Speaking Your Truth – Volume II.
She lives in Denver, Colorado, with her boyfriend and two cats. Born and raised in Central Florida, she uprooted her life and moved to the Rocky Mountains in 2007. She loves learning, yoga, nature, good conversation and the great outdoors.
